Being a Mentor

Being a Mentor is fun and rewarding, and Mad River Mentoring is here to support you every step of the way.

If you answer yes to the questions below, you are the perfect mentor!

• Are you 21 years of age or older?
• Do you want to make a positive difference in the life of a child?
• Do you have 4 hours a month available to volunteer? (either 1 hour a week or 2 hours twice a month)
• Are you able to sign up for a one year commitment? (don't worry — you can still travel for work, go on vacations, etc. There's a lot of flexibility here!)
• Do you have a valid driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle? (Mad River Mentoring provides additional insurance)
• Can you pass a background check and provide good references?
